R7.05.26 令和7年5月22日から25日にかけて、張教授は「極端気象条件下における山地災害とインテリジェント早期警戒に関する国際シンポジウム」に出席するため、青海大学を訪問しました。シンポジウムでは、山地河川災害の防止と軽減に向けた基礎研究成果として、3次元流れと掃流砂土砂分級現象に関する混相流数値解析方法について特別講演を行いました。また、青海大学歴史展示館、生態研究展示館、衛星地上局、農学研究院附属農場、スーパーコンピューターセンターなどを見学しました。さらに、土木水利学院の副院長であるGu Shenglong教授の案内で、北川河湿地公園をはじめとする西寧市の生態都市建設現場を視察しました。
施設見学と現地視察を踏まえ、Qi Delin副学長、Wei Jiahua副学長をはじめ、大学の国際交流部、医学院、薬学院、土木水利学院の関係者と面談し、熊本大学と青海大学における研究者・学生交流や国際共同研究プロジェクトのさらなる推進について意見交換を行いました。

Technical visits to research facilities of Qinghai University
May 26, 2025 From May 22 to 25, Professor Cho visited Qinghai University on Qinghai-Tibet Plateau of China to attend the "International Symposium on Mountain Torrent Disasters and Intelligent Early Warning under Extreme Weather Conditions." During the symposium, he delivered a special lecture on the numerical modeling of multiphase flow related to three-dimensional turbulent flow and bedload sorting phenomena, highlighting fundamental research outcomes aimed at preventing and mitigating mountain river disasters. After the symposium, Prof. Cho visited several research facilities, including the Qinghai University History Museum, Ecological Research Museum, Satellite Ground Station, the affiliated farm of the Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Science, and the Supercomputer Center. He also visited typical ecological urban construction sites in Xining City, such as Beichuan River Wetland Park, guided by Prof. Gu Shenglong from School of Civil and Hydraulic Engineering.
Following the facility and site visits, Prof. Cho met with Vice Presidents Qi Delin and Wei Jiahua, along with representatives from the university's International Exchange Department, School of Medicine, School of Pharmacy, and School of Civil and Hydraulic Engineering. They exchanged ideas on further promoting researcher and student exchanges, as well as international collaborative research projects between Kumamoto University and Qinghai University.
