R05.01.26 令和5年2月21日～22日に京都府宇治市で開催された京都大学防災研究所研究発表講演会に、B4植原さんが参加しました。講演会ポスターセッションにおいて、「洪水時における伝統水制工周辺の流れ構造に関する研究」というテーマで卒論研究の成果を紹介しました。参加者の方々と実験の方法や伝統水制工のあり方、関西を流れる河川などについて議論することができ、とても有意義な時間となりました。今回の学会の参加を通して学んだことを来年度以降の研究活動や仕事に繋げていくことを期待しています。

Jan. 26, 2023 Lab member Ms. Uehara (B4) attended the Disater Prevention Research Institute (DPRI) Annual Meeting held in Uji Campus of Kyoto University from Feb. 21-22, 2023. She introduced research activities of her bachelor's thesis entitled Flood Flow Structure around Traditional Spur Dykes in the poster session of the meeting. She had a chance to discuss with many attendees on experimental methods, effective use of traditional river training works and rivers in Kansai area and so on. It was really a meaningful time for her. We hope that she could take full use of what she has learned from this academic meeting in her future research and career.
