Apr. 1, 2024 Dr. Naoto Inagaki joined Kumamoto University as an Assistant Professor on April 1, 2024 and became a member of the River Environment Laboratory.

Apr. 1, 2024 Prof. Cho was newly appointed as Advisor to the President of Kumamoto University on April 1, 2024.

Mar. 26, 2024 Lab member Mr. Miyake (B4) received Dean's Award from the Faculty of Engineering, Kumamoto University on March 25, 2024.

Mar. 10, 2024 Lab member Mr. Miyake (B4) was awarded Excellent Presentation Award in the Annual Conference of JSCE West Branch held in Fukuoka University on March 9, 2024. His prensentation title was Effect of Driftwood Jamming on Characteristics of Bed Deformation around Traditional River Structure “Seigyu”.
