R5.08.01 中国工程院院士、北京清華大学公共安全研究院院長Fan Weicheng教授らが本研究室を訪問されました。Fan院長らは、清華大学で行われている防災関係の研究活動や研究施設について詳しく紹介されました。また、本研究室が開発したモバイル型水害シミュレーターによる都市水害のデモンストレーションを見学されました。その後、都市安全研究の代表的なテーマである都市豪雨災害研究に関する連携などについて意見交換が行われました。さらに、防災分野での大学間の連携・交流の可能性などについて、訪問団とくまもと水循環・減災研究教育センターの柿本竜治センター長、大学院先端科学部の張浩教授、竹内裕希子教授と活発な議論を行いました。
学術講演会と研究施設見学 Academic meeting and laboratory visit
Aug. 1, 2023 Prof. Fan Weicheng, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and Dean of Institute of Public Safety Research of Tsinghua University, visited our laboratory. Prof. Fan and his team introduced research activities related to public safety in details conducted in Tsinghua University, and visited the urban floods demonstration using the newly developed mobile simulator in our laboratory. After that, international collaboration on urban safety, in particular, research on urban flood management was discussed. The delegate also had an academic meeting with Prof. Ryuji Kakimoto, Director of Center for Water Cycle, Marine Environment and Disaster Management (CWMD), Prof. Hiroshi Cho and Prof. Yukiko Takeuchi from Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology (FAST) to discuss possible collaboration and exchanges between Tsinghua University and Kumamoto University.
